Are you ready to jump into the pool? We are delighted to share that coveted swims, dinners, and the popular Twilight on the Terrace are back at Hearst Castle for 2022!
The Foundation at Hearst Castle (FHC) relies on fundraising events to support our mission to help preserve Hearst Castle and its 25,000 pieces of artwork, and to continue our STEAM Program at the Castle, designed to inspire middle school students from underserved communities.

Here’s what you can expect this year:
Twilight on the Terrace – Hearst Castle’s Grand Reopening Celebration
On Saturday, June 4, Twilight on the Terrace will return to the Enchanted Hill! As part of Hearst Castle’s Grand Reopening Celebration, the annual tasting event will include live music and special Julia Morgan-themed tours. Plus, FHC members will have the opportunity to make an additional donation to swim in the Neptune Pool that evening.
Note: If you purchased tickets to 2020’s canceled event and would like to attend this June instead, email info@foundationathearstcastle.com to reconfirm your tickets. Tickets go on sale to the public late-April.
Neptune Pool Swims
Swimming in the Neptune Pool will once again be open to members of The Foundation at Hearst Castle and their guests. FHC members will have six dates to choose from in 2022.
Note: If you reserved space at a swim event in 2020 and held onto your tickets, please contact us at your earliest convenience to choose a new date. Once we take care of all of our existing ticket-holders, we’ll open reservations to everyone who was an active member in 2020 – 2022.
Roman Pool Swims
The (indoor) Roman Pool is closed for renovation at this time. We understand that it will be partially reopened for tours soon, but it will not be available for swimming until 2023. Please accept our apologies for this disappointing update.
Note: If you have tickets for a Roman Pool Swim event, you may choose a Neptune Pool date instead, hold on to your reservation until 2023, or request a refund.
Dinner & Movie at Hearst Castle
We are excited to resume intimate, wine-paired dinner experiences. These very special catered evenings include a screening of a classic film or newsreel in Hearst’s private theater. FHC members will have four dates to choose from in 2022.
