Victoria Kastner, Hearst Castle historian emeritus, will lead guests on a walking tour of Old San Simeon, including the rarely explored white stucco warehouse designed by Julia Morgan, where building materials, art and decor for W.R. Hearst’s former estate were stored after arriving by ship at the nearby pier.
After the tour, guests will taste a flight of stellar wines at Hearst Ranch Winery and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch behind the barn looking out to the ocean.
